W8SVR® stands for innovative tailor-made and recyclable thermoplastic composite semi-finished products. They enable the material-efficient and cost-effective use of continuous fiber reinforced composites for the production of lightweight, structural components. W8SVR® materials span a wide range of thermoplastic matrix materials - from polyolefins over engineering plastics to high-performance polymers - in combination with a vast choice of natural, glass, carbon or polymer fibers. These products can be supplied on roll, as plates or as net-shape and load-optimized blanks, ready for use in rate-capable manufacturing processes such as compression molding, stampforming or injection molding. The combination of structural performance, ease of processing and aesthetic appeal make these materials particularly suited for highly engineered hybrid components in automotive, medical, consumer, sports & leisure or aerospace & defense applications.
